Republic Polytechnic International (RPI) Pte. Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Republic Polytechnic (RP), incorporated to support RP’s overseas ventures. Since its institution on 14 March 2005, RPI has established strategic partnerships with companies which will promote and market RPI’s branding through programmes and other activities; mainly in China, India, Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam. Beyond these branding partnership, RPI actively organises international programmes for RP students, as well as niche programmes targeted at corporate and teaching professionals, both local and international.
RPI organises a wide range of overseas student programmes in the aim to broaden the global mindset of RP students. These programmes includes both long term work attachments to short study trips, which provides students with enriching learning opportunities in emerging regional economies. These programmes will take place during vacation periods of the RP academic calendar.
Beyond overseas exposure programmes for our local students, RPI also holds programmes in school which focuses on helping international students adapt to life in Singapore – particularly that of an RP student. A milestone of this venture is the Polytechnic Bridging Programme, an annual programme that spans a few weeks before school term that assists first-year international students adapt to RP’s unique PBL method of teaching.
Amongst the various development programmes managed by RPI include:
(a) Customer Relationship & Customer Service courses
(b) Creative Learning Approach/Creative Thinking Skills courses
(c) English Language Teaching programmes
These programmes are not only open to local professionals, but to international ones as well.
